The final inspection was performed at the Smeal facility in Synder, Nebraska on Februrary 2-3, 2010. The inspection was conducted over a 2 day period and all specifications and change orders were reviewed to ensure compliance. In addition, significant time was spent to ensure the quality of the workmanship and attention to detail. A number of minor items were discovered and reviewed with Smeal and a plan was put in place to correct the issues. Overall quality and workmanship was shown to be excellent and the truck will begin it's journey east to the dealership in Connecticut the week of February 8th. If all goes according to plan the vehicle should arrive in Spencer late Feburary or early March for training and to be put in service.
